Default Why do my hoses keep breaking!?!?!

A couple of weeks ago I changed my lower radiator hose cause it was leaking even though it was only a few months old.
Then a few days ago one of the hoses that go to the intake manifold to the head sprung a pin hole in it and started leaking.
Then today i had my car running and once again the same hose sprung a leak at the same spot?!?!
Anybody know why this is happening???
Any help would be greatly appreciated
TIA
-Brian

Brian,

Are the new hoses deteriorating within a week? Or is it leaking where connections are made? Oftentimes the rubber of the hose "cold flows" and clamps need retightening after a week or so. Sometimes "aviation perametex" on the hose barbs helps.

I have also found that when you get to the point that one hose fails..... change them all because they are all near the end of their life cycle. If you are getting pinholes in new hoses, look for abrasion points. You could have gotten the rare bad new hose from the factory........
