Why did my diff break during launch

So im up at the tree about to run, 3rd run of the day, I thought my car popped out of gear but i really broke the diff...

2000 Civic w B16 basic boltons, Spoon clutch and Azenis dropped to 20 psi

I was launching around 4 grand and my tranny decided to take a ****...

Weak differential. This happens pretty frequently with S4C trannies, broke mine at the track and didn't even know it until I noticed a crack in the tranny housing. Time for LSD
