So I started my car for the first time in around 2 months again and im wondering what this hose is suppose to go to? its just blocked off with a hose and clamped. it was putting out A LOT of what seemed to be coolant. let me know what you guys know, thank you! its right under the vtec solenoid...

 

It goes to the IACV and then the FICV then underneath to the bypass tube under the intake.

 

Does it NEED to be connected tho?

and any ideas why it was leaking?

 

It would help to list what engine you have and year/make/model. They prob blocked it off because it was bypassed or rerouted to delete it. It's leaking because that clamp isn't tight enough or the rubber hose has degraded.
