Default Who all is using vtec controllers?

I fitted one a few weeks ago on my JDM teg, i set the low setting for 4k and the hi for 5k, but usally just drive in the normal 4400rpm X-over point. When i set it at 4k x-over i cant hear the vtec kick in even though the vtec light comes on indicating that the vtec lobes have engaged..why is this? is it because the oil pressure is not high enough at 4k for it to engage properly even tho the controller has engaged the x-over. When i set it at 5000rpm i get a fairly large kick when it cuts in (more so than at 4400rpm) and can hear it clearly.

For those using controllers, what settings do you have and does it engage properly at lower rpms, plus whats the lowest you have set it to and still have it function properly?

Plus one other question, the unit i have is an R-Spec JDM controller, the digital rev counter only rises in increments of 120, and i cant get it to lower the increments, anyone know why they picked 120, seems 100 would have been a more sensible option, or maybe i havent figured out how to change this (i never got instructions as the item was used when i bought it)

well my buddy has a vtec controller on his 97teg and he set his x over point at stock 4200 and set his main butterfly to open up at 5500 and his is loud as hell but he has alot of mods on his and he had the stock dual stage manifold on there but with that because it is dual stage the lower you set it the weaker it is going to sound and the reason is when the main butterfly opens up it opens up like 8 more valves so it gets alot louder i dont know if this helps..
