OK I have a 99 Si, just installed a used GSR tranny from the junkyard.

Heres my issue.


Whine sound coming from engine bay, increases with the speed of the car (NOT the rpms) You can only hear it like 50 mph and up. When cruising in 5th gear with just a little bit of throttle (just like cruise control, for instance) theres no whine but once you want to increase you speed at all, and you give it some more throttle, it whines.

Also, I hear some squeaks from it as well in the lower gears.
