Default Where to launch at?

Where are you guys usually launching at? I launch at 3k and notice that it spins quite a bit...maybe Im not launching high enough though...I've got BFG G-Force tires with lots of thread left. The motor is a JDM B16A with basic bolts on's plus ITR cams. All this is on an EK by the way.

Just try launching at different rpms. I cant tell you what I launch at, I just listen to the motor and go by the noise. lol

If I lauch too low, the car will die, if I lauch too high, it just spins and I loose valuable time. I have never tried lauching at redline.

never tried launchin at redline?? TRY IT!! haha.. jk.. DONT! honestly which rpm to launch at depends on your setup.. when i had my stock b20vtec in my integra on street tires, i kept launching at about 3.5k rpm.. any lower and its a slow launch and any higher my car was wheel hopping and/or spinning.. but now im building my all motor gsr and got all my motor mount inserts and traction bar, so i have no idea where to launch at..

i dont think it matters what RPM you launch at aslong as you know how/when to release the clutch. you can have it at 2rpm and release the clutch slowly as ur pressing the gas, that will give u nice GRIND and a decent start. sometimes i just pop my clutch while giving more gas at the same time and i barely get a chirp but a big launch.
i dont even have that much power, 135whp i think.
over 3rpms plus popping the clutch will make ur tires spin
