Where to find a 1.4k ohm surface mount resistor ?
Like title states where can I find the correct 1.4k ohm resistor for use on a p08 ecu auto to manual conversion ?

nah radioshack doesn't carry crap. Try digikey. http://www.digikey.com or jameco.com shipping will be like $5 ground plus a service charge of like $3 if you have a total of less than $25. So maybe you want to pick up something else when you order. I buy stuff for school all the time(electrical eng) so i've pretty much got it memorized haha.(not something to brag about

another question. How do you plan on soldering in those surface mount resistors? I hope you've got a pretty good soldering iron w/ a fine tip and something to control heat. Those resistors are pretty sensitive.
