where does the filter go in an individual throttle body intake set up??
i'm at a loss, when i look at this thing, first thing that hits me is where da hell are the filters?? are there any at all? and if there arnt any, how do you prevent all that garbage from entering your engine?

ITB's aren't exactly the greatest for daily driving. Are you planning on using ITB's??? The screen will do the job, and yes would require more frequent cleaning im sure. But i wouldn't recommend ITB's on a street car. Unless your building a trailer bitch like mentioned above.

Chill bro its just an opinion! Those sites say so themselves. Unless you have alot of time and money then they aren't to good. But if you got the time and money then its a great investment for an all motor beast.

Yeah, those guys are more concerned about flow than air filtration. Besides, you don't need to be all **** about things flying into your engine. More dust and other particles may fly in more, but it's not going to blow up your engine, but that'll probably be cleaned out by the oil anyways. I run filterless sometimes too. It's unlike that rocks and/or pebbles would fly in either, in that case, just put on a screen.
U need to be careful running open air 2 asprin size tablets of sand if they get in the air intake do as much damage to your car as 75,000 miles of driving
but then how come all the suppliers state its perfactly streetable
forget dust, i'm thinking what would happen in winter time, so much moisture, etc and what if a person was to make a hood scoop to direct air to the throttles, would that mean the end of all things?
also a question, since the whole thing is about airflow, why not just get a big *** throttle body, like an 80cm or higher??!! and screw around with the intake manifold to make it fit? or is this part of the "too much is bad" type mods?

Would require some weird tuning to, cause I don't see how you're going to hook up a speed/density system to that configuration...

since we are discussing this anyway, another question in the mix
if i were to have a stand alone system already ( hondata) would i still need the stand alone fuel management for the throttle bodies, or can i use the hondata to do that??

When you have a intake manifold you can get a thing called sonic supercharging. Its when the vibration of the air bouncing off of the valves makes it back to the valve at the same time it opens. Thats why u dont want super short runners and a huge plenum. now im prety sure most of this is true but if u want to read an amasing article for yourself go here.

i forgot to mention that article is thanks to Michael Delaney. A verry smart man and has posted maby verry usefull articles on team integra
itbs are about velocity, not quantity of air.
there are plenty of filters available that would work just as well as stock.
