i just noticed that the 97-99 cl has a 3.0 liter engine that only produces 200 hp; you know what that means: untapped power. what cr does the v6 97 cl have? how much horsepower should i expect with 11:1 pistons and some slightly more agressive cams with an aftermarket header, exhaust, intake, and cat? would that get me at least 300 hp? who makes 11:1 pistons for the 97-99 cl, and who makes aftermarket cams for the 97-99 cl?

You could go with some Custom CP Pistons.. run your around? 525-ish

Also, it shouldn't be that hard to find a place that will make some custom cams for you, or some forged rods, or just about anything else for that matter.

 

just found out the place that offered custom pistons only does domestics

I know Crower does custom cams and rods. CP should do the pistons for you, just call them with the application and specs, then send them some money.

 

how much power do think ill be pushing with the cr bumped up from 9.4:1 to 11:1, 03 acura cl-s cams, the basic bolt ons, the af ratio evened out, and the redline raised from 5500 rpm to 7000 rpm?
