Default wheel shaking

today i was driving and my wheel started to shake. i thought it could have been my lug nuts not on tight enough and sure enough it was. then i tightend them with a torque wrench and now they are tight and i have brand new rims so its not a bent rim or tire pressure, and they have been balanced, and the steering still shakes BAD ! at high and low MPH.

Warped brake rotors? If you drove with loose lug nuts, you could have damaged something in there, be it a wheel, stud, brake rotor???? Just guessing here... Maybe something as simple as you threw a balance weight on your rim...

the tires are brand new and i checked all the weights earlier and they were all there. i think it could be my alignment was thrown off, while it was shaking so bad. but its not the rotors because its not when i hit the brakes. its while im moving with and without gas.

if the tires are brand new....maybe its a defective tire..or maybe they placed the weights on the wrong spots when they were balancing...i'd take it back to where you got it done and explain to them the problem.

Wheel bearing? Jack up that tire, and see if you can shake it.

Could be bad suspension alighnment, or maybe it could be tire problems. I had the shaking vibrating steering wheel for like forever until I found out a year later that it was my back rear tire, it was so badly worn that their was no rubber on there anymore but still I never changed it till one day it blew on me so I got a new tire for it and voila problem solved. I was like Doh! Cause all this time it was my back rear passenger side tire shaking the whole car.
