Default Wheel Part Numbers

I saw the post about honda part numbers and their breakdown but I'm still having trouble figuring out the part number on my wheels. I don't think they are the standard wheels that come on a 2012 EX-L.

I smashed my wheel into a pot hole and now the rim is bent. No one around seems to repair these so I need a new one. Honda quoted me $450 for ONE. I searched around and I see several 17" wheels on eBay but I measured the diameter of my wheel and it's 18.5" roughly... I'm not sure if I'm measuring it wrong though...

The various spokes/arms on the wheel have these numbers case. (each line is a separate spoke)

Arm 1
---------
17x71/2J
55

Arm 2
---------
TAO
17075C

Arm 3
---------
272
AP 13

I've seen some 17x71/2J wheels but I'm not sure what the TAO part means. I can't find any listed with that number on there. I also see some other wheels listed as 17075B but I'm not sure if those are interchangeable with the 17075C.

Can anyone with some wheel knowledge help me out? I did search the forum but didn't find anything related specifically to wheel numbers. Maybe I searched for the wrong thing.

This should be in a vehicle specific forum. What vehicle type? A 2013 EX-L what? Civic? Accord? CR-V?

Sorry it's a 2012 EX-L Accord. I thought it more was a question of me reading the part number wrong. I'll see if I can poke a mod to move it.

Not a big deal, it's just easier to look up the part number if I know what vehicle I'm looking for.

Can you post a pic of the whole wheel. The Accord EX-L had 3 different wheel options. But either way they are all 17" wheels.

Give me like 5 minutes to run downstairs and get a picture. That's another thing I was worried about.. the color of the wheels look like a darker grey and I notice a lot of accords have a bright metallic look to them. I wasn't sure if that was the difference between the B and C.

Ok brb.

42700-TA0-A74 is the part number you're after. Those wheels are of a 2011 model.

Thanks for all your help. I'll see if I can find that part. None on e-bay for now

Do you think this matches the one in my picture? ebay search appears to be bad...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-17...-/121244459027

Looks really bright but that could just be the lighting.

That eBay wheel is a replica.

You should be able to get a color matched refinished OEM wheel from hubcap haven for around the same price.

Also I went through that site. It asked for a wheel finish. I didn't know what the difference between "Medium Sparkle Grayish Silver" and "Medium Bluish Sparkle Silver" was. Any idea what my car might be based on pictures? They don't give a pic for the different shades.

Thanks for you help. I called them and he said I could e-mail him a picture of the wheel and he would help me with telling the color difference.

Send me a PM if you're interested in having your current wheel repaired. Also, stay away from replica wheels. Take it from someone in the industry, they are complete china made junk. I'll be happy to send you a copy of the notarized letter I recently received from LKQ (the company that gets those replicas made over in china) about a high number of failures on an accord replica wheel they were selling and have since pulled from the market if you don't want to take my word for it.
