I tried these. They don't fit aftermarket wheels. Base is too thick.

Pretty much get whatever you want. If someone wants your wheels they can take them. I don't know of any lock that I can't get off and no I don't steal rims. If you really want to be safe buy different locks maybe two or three sets all different kinds though not three of the same brand with the same type of locking pattern.

I have a set by a german sompany that has a cmputer designed pattern into the key, every on eindividual. But yeah they're not secure...

If your a big garage/well known then some tool distributors will supply a single set of 'reverse thread' self tapping sockets that just grip the outer edge of any!

Cant win can we.

yeah it doesnt really matter what you use if some one wants them they can get them... i had the racing harts that came with my cp035s and some one pounded a 19mm socket on em and cranked it lose like that is how is was supposed to be done.. luckily the moron got caught and i got my rims back but nothing is safe unless you pay a really big guy to stand around your car at all times...

I say this cause I got the ones that are open ended. And somehow I kinda cross threaded one when I attempted to take them off. Seems like when there hot the threads gets soft. But thats just User error.

Why not get a set of Rays lug nuts? I think they come with 4 unique wheel locks and the rest are sem-regular that you need a key to open.

yeah, infact i think those ray's come with a socket for the lugs, and they're 5 point.. find a socket for that one! and then on top of that, you have the ray's wheel locks too! hah!
