Can front wheel bearings be pressed out and then pressed back into a different set of knuckles?

 

The inner race usually end up stuck to the hub when you press it off.Plan on using new bearings.

 

if that happens then the bearing is no good anymore? Ive never worked with wheel bearings before

Yes.The race is almost impossible to get off the hub without destroying it.I have heard of people pressing them apart to install longer studs and press them back together.The bearings started to make noise and needed to be replaced shortly after.

yep plan on doing new bearings. like NJIN said they usually fall apart and maybe you can put it back but its gonna prematurally wear out.
