Default Whats the problem with oversized valves and stage 2 cams?

My friend recently built up his H22 and thought that oversized valves would be better than stock size. Now he had already purchased skunk2 stage 2's. We already put it all together and the car is just not quick. 14.5s in the 1/4 are pathetic for a fully built head and block. We just saw in small print on the box and it said to not used oversized valves with these cams. WTF????? Any info about why oversize valves cant be used with stage 2 cams would be great.

cause SK2 says so...
the cams are specifically made for the air flow stock size valves produce. i also think the valve seat is bigger on the ovesized, so that can cause piston clearance probs with the high lift
