Whats the difference between y1, s1, j1????

is it the final drive or the 1-5 gears i know j1 has the shortest then s1 then y1....but i just wanna know what the exact difference is. thanks.

the jdm j1 and s1 are the same. both have the same gearing and 4.40 final drive. As for the y1 the gears are slightly longer and has a 4.266 final drive.
