The answer is found in the photo's caption in the original thread. It's part of the Hasport mount kit (specifically the cable -> hydraulic adapter).

I believe its the hydro tranny to cable conversion. so he can run the itr tranny but not convert the car to hydro and still use his cable tranny setup.
