What is wrong with my tranny?

What is wrong with my tranny?
Today I was removing my brakes on my hatch, and when I went to put the car in gear to remove the lug nuts on my rims the axls kept spinnig. Idon't understand what the problem is. Is this a sign that my tranny is on its way out or am i just stressing for no reason. If any body has any ideas please let me know your opinion. Oh by the way I have an JDM integra R motor in my hatch if that makes any differnence. Thanks

Yeah they were both in the air. I just called a buddy of mine and I guess that it is normal for that to happen. I was trippn for no reason.
