I was driving on the highway one night and my CEL came on. The next day i had a

irractic idle from 1k to 2k every second. Aslo my Temp guage after starting the

car goes right to 1/2 way point then to H. After driving it a while antifreeze leaked

out. I checked for a vaccuum leak and there wasnt any, i refilled it with antifreeze

and was on my way home when white smoke was pouring out the hood and

exhaust and you couldnt even see out the rear view window. I then checked under

the hood again and the coolant was still there so then i checked the radiator for

cracks and there wasnt any so i looked under the radiator cap and the cap was in a

dozen pieces. I did a search and think its definatley the headgasket and for the

temp gauge is broken thermostat. Does that seem right?
