Default What would you prefer for lsd...

I can get my hands on a itr lsd but i have heard some really good things on the obx also? I can get either one of those for about the same price.

I auto x and road race all summer long so what will suit me the best? maybe another line?

I have been searching all day and i am sick of looking at BS

also do any of you have a good write up? or does a helm have one?

TIA

I would suggest a quaiffe, you cant beat a lifetime warranty even when raced, they are around $800-900. If you go with the obx make sure you dissassemble and clean it first, check the thread in tech for instructions.

If you auto-x and road race you probably don't have enough power as to where you'd need anything more than the ITR. I'd go with the ITR and save some $$ over the Quaife.

I don't know about the ITR LSDs, but I have a Quaife in my Civic and it works damn good! And blkb18 is right about the lifetime warrenty. I ate up a bearing in my tranny and just shipped the LSD back to quaife and they pulled it apart for me and fixed anything that was wrong since I had metal in my tranny. I got it back in about 5 days and it only cost me 25 bux for shipping. Now that's service!! If you get the Quaife your GSR FD will fit it just fine. I would imagine that it would also fit on the ITR LSD, but I'm not certain on that.
Good luck man. Quaife

In all honesty, I have heard some iffy stuff about OBX's stuff. I can't say thing about them from experience, but I haven't heard much good things about their products. It sounds like you've heard some good things so it's really up to you.

If it were me, I'd still go for the Quaife no matter how cheap the OBX or used ITR LSDs are. Quaife is race proven, backed by great service and a lifetime warrenty! They're really worth the extra money. I love mine!

Quaife

I did a lot of searching when I bought mine (that was about 2 years ago though). I bought mine from http://www.manufacturersdepot.com and they were great. The diff I bought first was discontinued and so they called me as soon as they found out and got it all worked out!
I found them to be about 20 bux cheaper than even Ebay (which doesn't have much Quaife stuff oddly enough). And like I said I did tons of searching and they were the cheapest! Check em out.
