Default What temp does the fan turn on in a 97 civic

I was wondering at what temp does the fan turn on in a 97 civic ive heard 196 to 206, anyways i ask because if i let my car idle for a while and the gauge gets to the middle then the fan turns on and if i let it idle it will come on and go off until about a minute or 2 later is this normal, im in about 38 to 40 degree weather also, i just wanna make sure it isnt a problem

yea pretty sure it trys to cycle itself at 198 or so.

in my experience the needle doesnt go up toward the middle until the temp reaches 210-212 or so. id just check the sensors and connections to make sure though if it comes back down it cant be all bad
