what size injectors for all motor?
I have a B18C5 built for high compression and large cams and need to upgrade injectors. I am thinking 310's but also have been looking into maybe 440's is that to big? Also I am not sure if I understand the difference between saturated and regular injectors (I am learning, be nice). Thanks...
prelude 320 injectors would be perfect. for all motor. but then again you didnt mention what compresion and how much power you want to get. 440"s are way too big unless you have individual throttle boddies. if you have a street diven car with no more then 12:1 compression, 320's are great, also a chipping of the ecu with custom fuel curve would help a lot. but then again if you go to a local performance shop they could help you out and dyno the car for just the right mount of fuel. you cant do things like this without some sort of tunning.
As far as I know preludes, are 240s, and you would need a resister box, or caps. I have rc 310's, and they are about right @ 12.0:1 fully built. The Progress Springs SI that has the land speed record for a civic has RC 310's!
4g h22a injectors are like 340-360cc and require a resistor box
5g h22a injectors are 290cc and do not require a resistor box
the size of the injector is dependant on what you plan to control it with

I say if you are going to go with injectors then definatly RC would be the choice. Many all-motor 10 sec cars have ran RC injectors and in turn seen great results. I also agree that 440's are too large and 310's would be the better route. -HIT

OBD1 lude injectors r like 310 or 320 where OBD2 lude injectors run 290. RC 310s worked for me for my 1.8L but next yr im jumpin up to a 2L and now im runnin 370s. alot of guys ive seen that run hondata say they need 440s.
I am running on stock 240cc injectors, but they are running at close to 100% duty cycle at 8,500+ rpm. Going with the RC 310's and see how they work. I would say that 440cc is overkill for all motor, especially a 1.8l motor.

is that true? 5g injectors don't need the resistor box... thanks for the info

You may be able to max out if you go with 310's... I would look into RC 370's they should be perfect.... 440's will work too, you just don't need that much... Keep your FP and duty cycle down and it will be nicer on your injectors... Latez
