Default what size cat?

what size cat should i get for my car..i have a d16z6 1.6 sohc vtec..in a 94 honda civic...should i get like 3 inch or what is the best or does it not matter....and where can i find cheap ones?

I would get 2" piping, or 2.25".

With 2.5" or even 3 inch piping, you will not gain anymore top end, and lose a **** load of torque, which you can't afford having a D series.

I would get a high flow cat. Summit and there are also Carsound cats. Search around and you'll find a good one.

i am getting a high flow cat....i have 2 1/4 piping already so should i go with the same size or what?

yeah, 2.25" piping will be fine.

i wont loose alot of torqe or top end speed with the high flow cat will i....i thought that was just for the straight pipe..

Nah you won't. 2.25 is enough flow for top end on the D series w/o losing back pressure for torque.
