whats up?

how much should i expect to pay to have a b18b rebuilt with new rods and slugs. JUST FOR LABOR.

I thinking eagle rods but i dont know what slugs for stock bore, i havent looked into it yet.


So what do you guys think? thoughts/comments/advice welcome

Shops around the area are charging like $1000-1500 for stuff like that.

I had my friend help me out with mine and I'm gonna throw him a few bucks.

just for reference, the motor will be out before it is taken to any shop.

And is that 1000-1500 with or without the parts?

What brand parts are you planning on using?
What kind of compression do you want?
N/A for forced induction?
Track, autocross, etc.?

First determine what you want to do w/ your car...

 

i know exactly what i want to do with it. auto-x mostly. Im building the engine so it will be a bit more lively and handle a decent shot n2o. c/r will be from 10.0-10.5

however, what i want to do has no effect on how much it will cost. But thanks for asking


anyone else have any idea on what a rebuild like this would cost. Again this is without the price of the parts themsleves. Just labor
