Default what should i do with my ecu???

i have a built head... skunk2 stage1 cams...upgraded valvetrain... stock bottom end..i wana know what i should do about my computer... its a daily driver, 01 gsr, obd2... i was thinkin either get a type-r ecu to raise the redline a lil and get a v-afc and get it tuned...or get an obd1 computer and get hondata.. the only reason im lookin away from the hondata , i would get the s100, is that once i get it tuned i cant change anything liek the v-tec x over like i could iwth the v-afc... and with the v-afc i can see the dispay of all the a/f ratio.. idk tell me what im missing guys

i was going down the same path as you.. i was thinking of using the itr ecu for my setup. but in order for that to happen. you have to get the ecu to relearn your car key. otherwise the immobilzer wont allow you to use the itr ecu for your setup.

I personally would go with the OBD1 jumper and Hondata... It's the easiest most tuneable route if you add more mods later on down the road... As for the VAFC being able to display your A/F, I haven't seen that yet nor would it be very accurate unless you are equipped with a wideband... Hondata gives you the A/F tables aswell as VTEC x-over, ignition timing, etc. Besides that just the fact that you're running an ECU with overall less parameters is nice... If you decide not to go with that then an ITR ECU and VAFC will work fine too... Just my $0.02
