when I called aebs he said the manifold was designed for their race car and later turned into production

I'm kinda curious what type of motor was it designed for initially?
I cant find any info online for some reason. is it just too old or did it fail or something and they don't want to talk about it?

They most likely got out of production due to Chinese knockoffs imo. Once you have places like Blox and others offering low cost copies it makes it harder to justify r&d costs especially with a smaller company. Until this post I had thought they got out of Hondas due to the mass market of low cost cheap assed customers ( like a lot of other companies...)

no they outsourced it to professional products but the company quality sucked and they had a lot of complaints. and by that time it already had its run in early 2000s
but professional products still makes it to this day under their name now.


I just wanted to know more about the racecar.

from what I could find it set a record of some kind back in a day.
I don't know if it was their crx or another car that they made this manifold for.

all I know it was a 2 liter b series all motor

this manifold is way before the internet and Chinese knockoffs.

Didn't realize that Professional Products copied the AEBs manifold. Or did they just buy it outright from AEBs? Seeing as they go for as cheap as $107 shipped lol

Not sure how long you have been around, but the internet was thriving in the late 90s. The earliest mention I can find now is 2001, however i am confident that I saw it online before that somewhere. Wish I could help more but the only race car i recall them running was a ford focus.

they always made them.
Under aebs name first then under their own name according to aebs.
Quality went down so aebs didnt want their name on it anymore thats what i understood when i called them
But so far i cant find anything on what engine was it that they used with this manifold
