Just wondering what brand, weight, and type of oil do you use for your cars. Thanks.

I use mobil1 5w30

 

mobil one fully synthetic 15W 50

 

Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5w-30 in my Civic Ex

 

mobil 1 tri syn. 5w-30

 

2 stroke weed wacker oil

 

 

It's in my D16Z6.

 

Sticking what with the car comes with...

 

know its a newb question, but i never thought about what the xW x meant (ex: 10W 30).

I use Full Synthetic Blend Mobil 1 5w 30 In my CRVTEC

 

whatever honda dealers put in it. 5w30

 

W means winter.

 

Mobil 1 10W30--turbo Civic

 

Mobil 1 synthetic. I don't know why. Oil is oil, I haven't noticed a difference.

 

Amsoil 10W-30

 

I recommend in Hondas>
Amsoil 0-30w TCO severe service
: less blowby and shear damage than

Mobil 1 5-30w
:burns off FAST and turns black quick

my motor is making alot of power for stock manifolds,
therefore is making more heat and has higher oil
temperatures. I had to drain the Amsoil due to
troubleshooting a knock I had, so I tried the
15-50 mobil because it was the best available at
the time. I am on 5-30 now since my engine has
been cleared to beat up again on the street. I am
going to clean the upper half, drain and refill
with the Amsoil 0-30w ASAP. You will notice a
2-5 whp gain at peak VE when you switch. It
is an excellent sealing and low friction oil
