What kind of LSD is this?

Apparantly its from a JDM GSR but it doesn't look like I've anything I've seen before.

almost looks like a spool. there dont look to be gears inside of it.

Spool is for drag racing only?? I was under the impression that it locks both axles together.

yes thats correct, a spool doesnt let one side spin faster than the other for turning corners so your wheel will hop since their both spinning at the same rate.
