i bought this off a fellow honda-tech member awhile ago and he said it's an itr lsd. However, i started looking and found it physically looks different than the other itr lsd's i've seen posted up. Any help would be great, i just want some confirmation.

 

It looks like a K-Series LSD.Judging by the gear ring it has on the smaller side siting around the bearing. My buddy and I had to put a ring just like that on his LSD. He had to add that ring on his K-Series to get the gauges to work. He has an 06 Tranny and we moded it to the 05 and under RSX by adding that ring, that way the speed sensor would work. You may want to double check but it really looks like a K-Series LSD to me.

 

I looked up some pics and it may be an ITR, b/c its a bit different than the K-Series. I'd look up that number you got on the LSD, & see what you can find

All of the factory dc2 itr lsd's that Ive come across do NOT look like that one.

Wow that could be the rare viscous lsd that came in some JDM trannys
