what injector size?

Default what injector size?

Alright i ordered a set of dsm 450 injectors.. when i got hte package it said 550cc on them.. on the top of the injectors next to the plugs i see MDL 450 on them. black tops with green case around the niddle.. heres a pic.




any ideas?

I'm more familiar with the blue top injectors, but usually the number you find on the injector is your correct CC number. Are you sure the guy you got them off of didn't just upgrade and send you his old injectors in the new boxes he got?

the box says precision turbo & engine 550cc flow matched.. so i dunno maybe

Well I'm sure your DSMs aren't flow matched that's for sure. But while you have them out if you have an extra $50 you should go ahead and get that done. When you get them back they will be crystal clean (inside) and all flow the exact same amounts (matched set), you can't beat that.

just take them to a machine shop or where at? i'm in nova so could inline pro do it or what?

the blue top ones are the older turbo gst/gsx injectors. the newer ones (black tops) are also 450cc and are the exact same just different color. i would check the flow rate on them due to the possibility of them being bored out and have a higher flow. check the forced induction forum they know a ton about these injectors.

If you do an archive search for injector cleaning there is the common places like RC, but there is also a place in Michagin who I'm using that does cleaning and flow matching for $11 an injector.
