i was going to do forced induction ..... but then i realised how it was much more practical and cheaper it was to do all motor with what i wanted to do

so what header makes the most numbers in your opinion , your help is appreciated

 

In order to give you a semi educated answer, we need to know what you are going to do. Headers work well in conjunction with the mods that are done to the vehicle.

For example, most 4-1 headers work better with high reving engined where the horsepower curve is higher in the rev range. Most 4-2-1 headers offer better low to midrange but tend to be weaker higher up.

 

well its pretty much a stock gsr......i plan on cams and pistons and such ...

 

I hear Honda Saver is awesome. I have a DC ceramic that works fine for me.

 

what cams and what compression pistons? believe it or not but those are 2 MAIN factors when choosing a header. Go 4-1 jdm itr header. you can't go wrong with it.
if you are going to use like Toda C's or D's or something just as radical then Hytech or something like that would be called for. just go with a 4-1 with 2.5" collector you'll be fine. if you wanna spend cash...go spoon, Mugen, or Hytech.

Two inch primaries???!!!! Geezus what rpm are they tuned for... 12,000? Full race 427ci engines use headers this size. I really think they've gone down the dark road of marketing, in that they can claim "ours are bigger which means there better." Wrong.

Think if it this way, the stock header primaries are roughly 1.56". These 2" primaries flow 164% more air. So are you going to run your engine at roughly 7000 * 1.64 = 11,500rpm. Shame on people who try to sell stuff like this for street cars. The primaries makes their product appropriate for nothing that drives on the street. Is that what you want?
