I guess I should have explained it a little. I have a 97 Lude with the Tiptronic auto trans. I got bored and took apart my shifter to see how the Tiptronic worked. I did some rewiring and soldering and zip-tied a couple push buttons onto my steering wheel.

fun-fun

LOL! Phat. I was actually planning on doing something like that with mine. However, I was going to buy the paddles for the wheel, of get the Momo wheels with the two horn buttons.

the Momo wheels with the two horn buttons.
I was thinking about rewiring the horn buttons, but in order to due that I would have had to play around with the wiring of the SRS system too, and I just didn't feel to good about that.

I did not have any luck finding any paddle shifters, the one link I had I could not access. Do you have any other links?

That's nice. You should really try to find the actual paddles they use in race cars. Maybe you could put a kit together with instructions and sell it.

I looked around for some kits, but figured I wouldn't find anything for less than a arm and part of my ********. So I just went to radio shack and 30 bucks later, ta-da!
It's an modular system though. So I can always upgrade to a cleaner looking system if given the chance.

I have a loop of wire about a foot long under the stearing wheel. When I turn, it just wraps around the wheel.................
