My idle at neutral in my civic goes from 1k to 1.5k then to 1k then 1.5k in a pattern and im kinda worried, does anyone know what it could be? its never stalled, perhaps its normal?

 

Do a search, I see new threads about this same problem on average about once a week.

 

i have done a search, the most responsive answer was do a hard reset from the fusebox, and i did that, but the problem continues

 

i changed my sprak plugs (from NGK to bosch platinum +4) and the idle stabilized at 1200, what could have it been? the NGKs didn t look too bad... oh i changed the oil too, but hardly seems like it would matter.

Try searching again for idle issues. I know I have posted a couple of different diagnostic procedures to test...

yes it did...thanks, the valve is alot bigger than i had thought originally...its been so cold around here that i haven t been able to look at the FITV without havin my hands lose feeling (and i was wearing gloves ) so as soon as we have a bit more warmth, im out there.
