Default What entails rebuilding a tranny?

I have a Prelude Si automatic with a turbo strapped on. I dont need a new tranny yet.. but I was curious if its a cheaper route than buying a new one? And what all do they replace or fix? Because I might add a Torque Convertor if I can save some money on a rebuild.

New bearings and seals.

Perhaps examining the synchroses (plural?) too, and replacing them. Same with the other gears....basically everything inside.

Convert your car to manual. You could do that for about $500 if you did the work yourself.
