superchips for stock motors, JUN or Mugen for more modified motors.

while skunk2 is a ripoff a JDM Mugen program, it tends to run very rich and is not really suited for street driving.

Adrian,

Did anybody on the phorums figure out what the port is for? I would assume for some sort of datalogging or information gathering purposes.

Mugen timing maps with Jun fuel maps works great on most basic camshafts ... others I redo custom maps based on motor and cam combo.

I'm with Adrian (eg6ajk) on this one. Personally the Skunk2/Mugen program hands down is the best out there for OBD1 ecu's. It makes the most power, 5 or more hp gains on the dyno. It eats up fuel but ya gotta give/take somewhere...

Yep, that is definately a datalogging port. Look closely, and then compare it to Zdyne's setup. It's extremely similar.
