for allmotor setup

B18A1 block
B18C1 head
B16 PR3 pistons
OEM 3 layer HG
B18C1 IM
P72 GSR ECU
AEM V2
AN-R header

what tranny would be good for this setup ?

Put on a skunk2 IM instead of the GSR one. You will be glad you did and its 10x easier with the head off then trying to put it on while the engine is in the car.

the CR according to c speeds calc stay the same if i put on jdm itr pistons and drops if i usdm itr pistons, it says the pr3 b16a pisonts yeild 11.58:1 and the jdm itr pistons are 11.57:1 the only way to raise it is to use p30 jdm b16a pistons and the CR goes up to 11.9 this is all according to the calculator

isint 11.5 and 11.9 pretty high ? i could just go with a 2 layer HG to get them same cr as the jdm p30's as the pr3's

whats the difference between the skunk mani and the ITR one ?

What does that mean? And yes, the B16 cable tranny is good. Try and get yourself the one with a factory LSD. Either that, or the USDM YS1 out of a 92-93 GSR, which has the same gear ratios as the ITR, just in cable form and no LSD, and those are pretty easy to come by.

If I were you, thats what I would do. Get the B16 swap and a B18 block. This way you have the everything for the swap.

i would say thats def the best way to go cause you can use the b16 pistons on your ls motor for higher compression and then sell the b16 block. also remember you need arp rod bolts($40) thats a must .

Use the gsr head, and then just get a skunk 2 mani, or leave the mani it doesn't flow as good as a b16 but they have the secondaries... and for na use a b16 tranny. I posted all about mine in the civic forum...
