Worked in a local Auto garage/shop for 2-3 years... but that was years ago. I got out of the automotive world and got into an industrial trade. I am a Steamfitter/Pipefitter.
Was in the car biz on repairs and performance for 14 years. Now I work on industrial air and gas compressors. Currently in Korea working on a LNG vessel.

I find dead people!! I search the history of property title in order to lease mineral rights for oil companies to be able to drill oil wells. It's a bunch of legal work in court houses.
I operate downhole directional tools used for horizontal oil and gas drilling. From mud motors to measurment while drilling tools, gamma ray logging probes, resitivity sensors, rotary steerable devices and more. Its a great gig, although one day i will give it up to get a journeyman cert in automechanics.
My back up trade so to speak is being a chef. I cooked professionally for many years before working in the oilpatch. My love for cooking is great but theres just no money in it.
