Default what to do?

I currently have a Gsr motor with 42000 miles

I am about to get some higher compression pistons.

if I go with Spoon balanced jdm ITr pistons and a mugen head gasket, will i still be able to run 93 octane without having to retard the timing?

or should I just get US ITR pistons and the mugen gasket?

thanks

Yes you will be able to run 93 oct. I have/had the same setup until my motor blew on the dyno we dialed in to much duration.
