what is the difference in d series valves??

just like it says. i have a d16y8 that need new valves and they are like 13 dollars a piece more than all other honda valves
why?

Prolly cause they are different then the rest, they might be polished a bit more then the others. Longer in length? I honnestly cant say, but I wouldnt try and use anything else in the head other then Y8 valves.
