What could be wrong with my vtec?
I was driving home from work today along the tollway, and got bored and decided to kick vtec since i havent dont it in so long.... Right when it crossed over the first time, it was really rough, and sorta jerked like the car just didnt want to go there. I tried it again, thinking that maybe it was just because I havent hit vtec in a while....it did get a little bit smoother after that, but it is still "rough" in the vtec range......kinda jerky... Anyone have any idea to what it could me? Im thinking it might be because i need a valve adjustment....or i need more fuel or something...but im not sure...
My set up-
lsvtec b18/b16
stock injectors
ported jdm 4-1
aem cai
testpipe/greddy sp
"mugen" p28 5800vtec/unlimited
-ive had this setup for a while, thats why im kinda ruling out fuel....

I seen a few ITR's and GSR's with low oil causing VTEC not to engage. A couple of the customers who had this problem were quite surprised to learn that they were low on oil. It only takes a few seconds to check, and if that is not the problem, what have you lost by checking it?
