like the title states...im swapping my busted Y1 tranny for the lsd equipped YS1 (cable) and noticed that i couldnt use my recently used clutch because of main spindle sizing....now how would i ask my local auto parts store about a clutch in stock form for this application? like what year acura or honda? or do i have to supply them w/ the tranny code?!?!? i was thinking 90-93 integra but i have doubts and im not sure if its usdm or jdm but might be japanese cause the whole housing is addentical to the Y1....any info is apprciated and yes i did search but no luck....thanks in advanced!
I'm pretty sure you can use the same clutches from the 96+ GSR's. Not positive, but I believe they all fit. Anyone else with any info to help this guy out?
You can use any b-series clutch 1992 and up. Pressure plate, too. The throwout bearing will need to be from a cable clutch setup, 90-93 Integra. Get the 92-93 Integra kit and you'll be set.
Not all YS1 boxes are LSD equipped, not sure whether you were implying this above or not. Most are plain old LS transmissions.

thanks for the help and info....i went ahead and purchased the set up for a 99-2000 Si and will be using my old throw out bearing i'll see how that goes...thanks again....peace
You really should use the 92-93 Integra clutch kit. The hydraulic transmission clutches are slightly bigger, or maybe it was just the Clutchmasters that I had sitting around. I tried and 88-91 Exedy on my S1 (obviously that worked), a 92-93 Exedy on it...too big, then tried the clutch alignment tool for the 92-93 into the S80 JDM SIR II clutchmasters clutch I had sitting around...the alignment tool was loose enough to raise my eyebrows at its use in a 92-93 tranny. Just my 2cents.
