Hey guys what is the best motor to put in a 94 civic Hatch <all opinons considered>
A motor that will make your car the fastest it can possibly go. 
Do a lot of research, I'd drop an H22 in that bad boy.

H22, B18C5, CrVtec, LsVtec, GSR, B16a, Ls, etc. Check your bank account and see what you can afford.
Just hang out on Honda-tech and you'll find out what you want.

H22, with a few choice bits and suspension tweaks you'll outpower most anything and corner past those who say that the h22 does not belong in a civic...

depends on what you want.....are you gonna go autocross, track racing, streetrace...with that then these people could tell you better

smallblock v8 then turbo it.
but it may require some fabrication, perhaps hasport makes mount kit though.

LS all the way. VTEC optional...boost a must. The LS is just such a good motor.
