Default What are acceptable knock volts? ...

I've been doing some logging and I'm getting a voltage spike of 3.4volts that lasts for 1 second and drops to 1.7 after.

At the spike the log show:

Knock volts 3.4
Engine load 154.5
Engine speed 8613
O2 10.87
Ign timing 17.45
Air temp 19.4

Another log with more timing and warmer temps showed:

Knock volts 3.1
Engine load 151.7
Engine speed 8699
O2 11.56
Ign timing 20.26
Air temp 28.4

Should I be pulling back timing in that one particular cell?

How sensitive is the stock knock sensor, could I be picking up false knock?

Should I be worried? Any input would be great as Im just learning...

Basic setup info:

02 s2000
InlinePro kit
Aem ems/wideband

You'll find that the stock ECU ignores the knock sensor signal over a certain engine speed (i think 4000rpm) since the sensor does not produce accurate results at high RPM.

However I'd try pulling some timing and seeing if it makes a significant change, if not it's 'probably' not knocking.
