Default what to about injectors

ok. the swap is done. everything is good. the only thing im concerned about is my injectors. we had to use my original Si injectors and they have 145,000 miles on them. what can i do to make them run at maximum efficiency, without replacing them? what is the process of getting them cleaned? and will it make a noticeable difference in performance if my injectors are clogged up or very dirty?

I don't know if you can get it over there, but there are some fuel additives that claim to clean your injectors. I found some at my local supermarket.

Here try http://www.valvoline.com/pages...ct=57

just use some of that injector cleaner...If u really want u can send them out to be cleaned and flow matched, but its really not necessary.

Just run some good FI cleaner through them, that should be good enough. Regane by Gumout works pretty well. Many people like the Redline stuff and also the Chevron Techron stuff too. If you are making a lot of power though, you should consider upgrading to bigger injectors

a b16 from 00 si, and gsr's injectors run at 240cc. same thing that your stock injectors are running. If you're concerned... get some fuel injector cleaner. if you have other serious engine mods, then maybe you should consider getting 290cc or 310cc injectors.

so 145,000 miles of my abusive driving and not necissarily keeping the fuel system clean hasnt harmed my injectors in any way?

get them cleaned and flow tested. Normaly they should clean them with an ultrasonic machine. they should come back like polished...
