Default Welding the diff..

I want to make sure I'm going to do this correctly. Can someone give me some quick directions on how to do this. I know the general idea, but just need some reassurance before going through with it.

hints/tips/anything?

yeah, DON'T!!!!!!!

It is illegal to run a welded diff at ANY sanction track in the USA.

NHRA, IHRA, AHRA, etc.........

Buy a spool and be safe, and be done!

Don't do it. You'll be sorry. Best to leave it alone or buy a Quaife.

Thanks guys, but I've already mad the decision to weld that bish up..

It's not for a drag car, it's not for an autocross car, it's for a rally car. It will very rarely see street use (mostly just on the street transporting from stage to stage, and driving to local logging roads to practice). A beater rally car that I don't want to put money into (rules out the quaife).

People in the region with FWD cars are having the best luck with a welded diff... So thats what I am going to do. It's only a D15B6 4 speed tranny anyways, If I don't like it, I'll go out and buy a ZC with tranny, or find a used tranny.. No big loss.

Any other help?
