Icon2 Weirdest problem on a ek9

Hey friends I'm new on this forum and recently I had a problem with my 96 ek9 and the problem was that it's draining my battery, everything starts after a short on my CD player then we realized that the alternator wasn't working and I fixed it, now the problem after removing the CD player or headunit is that the lights from my cluster and the beep, and the rear lights stays on and I have no idea why. What I do know is that the CD player was getting a power from a line of my directionals and now I remove the key and the lights stays on and the beep stays there like if the key is still there

WTF? What kind of hack job wiring are you doing? From this it of info no one is going to have any idea what you've actually hacked up nor how to reverse it.

Wow, that kind of **** is that? That is a very weird issue. Do the harness look cut at all? Op it looks like you have a nice wiring job on your plate. When you put the radio back in, everything works as it should? Who did the radio install? You the first owner?

i think the first issue that you have is the fact that you do not own an ek9, simply because there was no ek9 produced in 1996. second issue is a positive wire shorted somewhere....good luck finding it. like ferio-ichi-san said, make sure there's no cut wire that could possibly touch the frame.
