Im losing my mind trying to figure out with it could be. Im hoping some else has a new idea.

the problem is my tach doesnt read anything until the engine is way up in the revs. and then i know it doesnt read the engine rpm right. so basically .. its way off.

i have looked and tried my best to see if there are any bad connections and i even changed the ignitor. but there is NO difference at all. wtf could it be? the cluster?


i know what i need to do is use one of those volt meters and check my voltage at the dizzy, and before the cluster. but i dont have one!
or then doing that. does anyone have any idea what else i could check out?

 

just buy a new dissy and call it a day... it'll save you the time and trouble... it should fix your problem... thats what i did to my friend's 93 gsr..

and ur friends car was running 1000% fine?

 

Bad dizzy. No biscuit.

Rebuilt/new diizzy should fix it.
