This has been annoying me for a while. The suspension and steering feels like it floats over bumps. I don't know whats wrong with it, i have replaced motor mounts, rechecked every single nut and bolt twice. But after i did the motor swap, the front end does not feel stable and at times, it can be scary. When i let off the gas in first gear, revs at midrange, the car will actually torque a little bit to the left. It feels like the whole car is shifting, is it a suspension issue? or something with the steering? I can take my hands off the wheel and it doesn't track very far when driving on the highway. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've got a 3 day weekend and want to solve this problem.

 

the floating sounds like worn shocks...not sure about the torque steer though.

 

my suspension setup is gc coilovers, w/ koni yellows, med. setting, comptech strut bar in the front, comptech sway/tie bar in the rear, polyurethane engine mounts

 

sound like blown shocks, That is the floating feeling

 

tie-rods?replacing them helped my car's handling alot

 

thanks for the replies, replaced the tie rods made a huge improvement, but the konis are blown, hopefully they will replace them for me without any major problems

 

was just going to say ball joints on tie-rods
