weird question....NEED ANSWER!! sort of...not really
im doing an ls-vtec swap, i have a complete b16 in my car currently, and i just bought i complete ls engine (dirt cheap). im gonna put the b18 block and the b16 head together....leaving the b16 block and b18 head. is there anyway i can mate these two so that if my ls-vtec engine is gonna have work done, or needs to be pulled, i can put this one in without having to buy another motor???
Sounds like an interesting question I'd like to know that too.
I don't know why I keep thinking this and could be wrong LOL But I was thinking that if doing an LS/vtec swap gave you nice horsepower AND torque then wouldn't mating the opposite make you have no horsepower and no torque LOL

ive been thinking that too haha
but i just dont wanna have to buy another motor when i've already got the pieces for one...who knows maybe the "power" won't be too bad.

u can put LS heads n b16 blocks, but power is shitty..if ur gonna just use incase, then go for it, u need to reverse the LSvtec directions... oo, i dont know abot the oil passage though, ive seen it done before however...
its gonna be hard but u can do it..... ur gonna have to take the head and the block to a machine shop to get the dowel things the same size
IMO is a waste of time and money plus after u do the conversion and u want to make it a straight up b16 ur going to have to take it to the machine shop again and u wil never be able to sell those parts again
