Default Weird Problem...

This seems wack and I can't even come close to understanding this myself. Recently a friend of mine was rear-ended in his '03 Accord sedan, not too much damage but he is going to have the frame checked out because he was hit pretty hard. Here is where my question comes in, how in any way could the clutch be effected by the accident? Ever since the accident, 1st, 3rd, and reverse do not work. Before the accident I know myself because I driven the car that all the gears worked fine. Problem started as soon as he drove away from the accident. The car is completly stock, is his daily driver with the stock clutch in it, car has about 120k on it. Anyone have any possible idea? Thanks
