weird check engine light problem help!!!

Default weird check engine light problem help!!!

the car is a poormans type r in a 95 coupe.when i turn the car no light pops up but when i put the pin in the plug to check what code it the engine light would pop up and stay solid and the srs light would start blinking.what would be the problem with this?

Solid light when checking the codes means you have no stored codes. If the light is coming on while driving, find a safe place to pull over, keep the car running then check the light and see if it gives you a series of blinks.

doesnt blink at all when running.but cold mornings when i start it it wouldnt be there until it gets a lil warm if that helps anything.

just looked and it came out to be 4 blinks 1 short.primary oxygen sensor heater how do i fix this anyone?

You go and buy another oxygen sensor. There is no way just to fix the heater. You don't have to fix this. The only time it will affect you is when the car is cold. It takes longer for the O2 sensor to warm up thus causing the car to stay in open loop longer resulting in crappier gas mileage for the duration it takes for it to warm up. It just boils down to how bad you want the cel to be fixed.

I have the same issue ,boosted running close loop my cel come on at 60 deg and below. I have to when warm shut down and restart to go into closed loop then no light.
